• So does the camera need to be plugged into a power supply AND plugged into the modem/router with an ethernet cable?
  This outdoor security camera needs to be plugged into a power supply all the time while it's working.
  But you can choose it to connect via WIFi or Ethernet cable. It's up to you.
  
• How much are the cloud suscriptions?
  We have 3 cloud plans for your options.
  Here are their price :
  1. Basic Plan - $6.99/month, $19.99/quarter, or $69.99/year. It can add up to 3 cameras and rolling 7-day alarm recording.
  2. Extended Plan -$9.99/month or $99.99/year. It can add up to 5 cameras and rolling 7-day alarm recording.
  3. Pro Plan - $16.99/month or $169.99/year. It can add up to 7 camears and rolling 7-day alarm recording.
  
• What is the difference between outdoor cameras W2 W3 and W4 ?
  Here is the main difference between older W2/W3 and W4 camera :
  W2/W3: supports RTSP, ONVIF, NVR, and third party softwares. Doesn't support Cloud Storage. Motion detection function is not great or sensitive. Cannot get alarm notification on IOS devices. Use Wansview App.
  W4: supports Wansview Cloud Storage. More accurate and sensitive motion detection. Doesn't support any third party softwares or web browser. Can receive notification on both IOS and Android devices. Use Wansview Cloud App.
  

  
  
• Does the outdoor camera supports SD card record?(W2/W3/W4)
  No, this outdoor camera(W2/W3/W4) doesn't support SD card record.
  This W4 outdoor camera can record alarm videos to your phone when an alarm is detected, the videos can be replayed for 2 days. It is free.
  Also, this camera support Cloud Storage, you can record alarm videos to Cloud, no any risk of missing important movements.
  
• Can I access the camera when i am outside?
  Yes, as long as the camera has been connected to wifi, you can use the Wansview Cloud app to check the live video from anywhere and anytime.
